Gustavo Panichi
I'm a passionate visual artist who loves doing beautiful stuff, no matter the format or media. I'm reaching 15 years of experience, having worked with great brands such as Adidas, Netflix, Mondelez, Fila, Budweiser, Red Bull, Blizzard, Zedd, Tiesto, EA, Capcom, Twitch, Avon, Gillette, and many more. After a long journey I ended up in Lisbon, Portugal, where I'm currently based, and if you bear with me I can guide you through most of my career path.
I started as an Art Director in my hometown of Porto Alegre, Brazil, back in 2005. I worked my way up in traditional ad agencies, which was a great way to be, taught me a lot about art, visual culture and good old teamwork. But at the end of the 2000's the digital world was knocking hard at advertising's door and it was time for a change in paths.
So in 2011 I got an internship at my first digital agency, in Thailand. I lived there for three months, while doing the PlayGround creative course, under the guidance of Graham Painter – one of the my great mentors. After returning to Brazil, I looked for the best digital agencies to work at and ended up working for 5 years at W3Haus, reaching the position of Senior Art Director. It was a great place to learn and I created amazing stuff there. I got to work with some of the best Creative Directors I ever had and teamed up with amazing copywriters.
But eventually it reached the time for a different shake in paths again. I wanted a fresh look on the traditional agency format, so I went on to work at EAT, a place where I fell in love with the culture, the people and work. There I have done my best work and am had the time of my life. It allowed me to work from anywhere in the world. Hence, Lisbon – a city I love.
So here I am, currently based in Lisbon, where I'm now getting a Masters Degree and live my lifelong dream of living near water, with my amazing girlfriend Jessica and hoping to get a dog soon. I invite you to check my profile and dog status from time to time.
